My dad came home with a cheap plastic trench-cutter made of PA-GF or Nylon+Glass Fiber that he broke while trying to cut an old branch. I immediately thought about replacing the gear part with a 3D printed one. The model is "Fiskars 112290". I used Reelfill's PETG with 100% infill, 235°C extruder, and 0.4 mm nozzle. You can find Reelfill at www.reelfill.com and www.zyx3d.it Here are some photos and the STL if you need it. On the left is the broken part, the second one and the third one are 0% infill mock-ups, and the final part in glossy-transparent white is the PETG one. www.rob3d.it Happy printing! Print Settings: Printer: Aluminum Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 100 Notes: Print with ABS or Carbon Fiber or PETG as I did. Post-Printing: Remove the brim/raft How I Designed This: I started by hand-sketching the broken part, then modifying it in Illustrator.
