Revamp your empty 2x4m wall with an intriguing DIY kinetic art project! Find a step-by-step tutorial in this post, but remember, the creativity is up to you. Here's a breakdown of ball bearings used: 11 mini ball bearings (2x6x3) for tray 1, 40 mini ball bearings (3x8x4) for tray 2, and 21 and 53 mini ball bearings (5x16x5 and 6x15x5 respectively) for trays 3 and 4. Watch this video for a better understanding: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIUwBxDOi_w. Inspiration was drawn from Thingiverse, including universal joints (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:14335), spring joints (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5439), and bevel gears (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3575). The entire project took 91 hours to print, using 320.39 meters of 1.75mm filament and printed with excellent PLA from Supply3DPLA.com.
