Gear Lid - 12 Leaf Aperture Iris Box

The 12 Leaf Aperture Iris Box just got a whole lot more mechanical with two steampunk-themed lid designs! To get started, you'll need the base design already, then simply swap out the original doors for these decorative ones: 'Mech 1' and 'Mech 2'. These designs create a gear pattern with concentric rings mounted on the yellow container, giving it a hypnotic spiral effect when opening the box. 'Mech 3' and 'Mech 4' take it down to basics with a cleaner gear design mounted on the black container - you can even mix and match files for more or less spokes in the gear. Single-material and multi-material print files are included, denoted by 'mm' in the file name; while a multi-material printer is needed, Devin Montes has an awesome tutorial on how to use the multi-pass printing technique to create these parts on a single nozzle printer - just like in the printed examples!
