Gear for Ball Screw Transport - Fischertechnik
thingiverse
Gear Z40 (similar to Fischertechnik 31022) for Ball Screw Transport Fischertechnik compatible I began with a copy of Gear (31022), but this took too long to print (~3 hours) and was also too expensive. The original spare part costs 1.80 euros, while a used part costs 50 cents. I made my own gear without holes, inner teeth, or upside-down pins, and added the shaft part for press-fit mounting on 4mm Fischertechnik axes. Occasionally, you need to drill a hole with 3.9 mm for a better fit. Next, I mixed the screw with the gear downward. I rotated the original screw (horizontal 180°) to see the hole at print time. The gear is only at the bottom for better printing. I found out that this idea isn't new. I added the file for the long screw with 240 mm (but couldn't print it). I printed one screw with a gear and one without. Then, I combined them with long 4mm axes (275 mm) from http://www.fischerfriendsman.de. Type 6510s #107435 27.5g Achse 275 mm Silberstahl I calculated how long the axes are: Bottom bed 10 mm + Screw with gear 125 mm + Screw only 120 mm + Top bearing 10 mm + Distance parts 5 mm = 270 mm long
