I opted not to scrap my trusty Makita cordless screwdriver by repairing it instead. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the metal gear inside the plastic housing had become worn out from overuse. Taking a seat at my workbench, I decided to design a new case for the gear. After just 3-5 test prints, the modified case fit perfectly.
