Gear Bearing Spinner - Customisable, parametric
thingiverse
Included STLs are designed for 4mm allen centre hole and M8 nuts (or no nuts). The height is 8 mm, with tolerance set at 0.15. Adjust accordingly for your printer's tolerances and preferences. More mass means more spinning, so the nuts are not necessary but can be used. If you decide not to use nuts, you may want to print it with increased infill. Open 'bearing-spinner.scad' to make changes. Rendering this SCAD file can take a while. To see how it works, watch the video at https://youtu.be/KZcjZevxDyo. Attributions are as follows: Gear Bearing by emmett from thingiverse.com/thing:53451 Smooth Spinner OpenSCAD by bda from thingiverse.com/thing:2112021 Nuts and Bolts by JohK from github.com/JohK/nutsnbolts Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 20%+ Post-Printing: As with emmett's geared bearing, you will have to break it in by spinning. The included STLs will work fine with a 4mm allen. If you printed cutouts for nuts, put your nuts in the freezer first, then insert a bolt and smash them in with a hammer.
