Gear Bearing Skateboard Wheel
thingiverse
This modified Gear Bearing wheel is suitable for skateboarding; however, it's not very long-lasting and taller than normal. It was an interesting idea to try printing but required drilling a larger center hole. Not recommended for long-term use or trick riding, better results may be achieved with solid infill and precise printer settings. My printed wheels were made of ABS, with 0.3mm layer height, 220% width over thickness, 40% hexagon infill sliced in Slic3r with a 3mm brim. However, there was insufficient solid infill on the top layer due to low E steps/mm. Applying white lithium grease enhances the wheel's turning ease. Unfortunately, my printed wheels broke during a kick flip, and the rear wheels' outer layers started peeling after some riding.
