The angle of the wedge is approximately 1.4 degrees along its length to enable self-locking in its installed position under varying loads. Additionally, the upper surface of the wedge is inclined at a 55-degree angle for a firm and rigid connection with the cavity. Steel and rubber frames with circular cross sections offer watertight sealing, with the steel frame safeguarding the rubber seal during assembly, disassembly, and operation. The steel frame's design ensures that load and preload forces do not damage the sealing rubber. The rubber frame, featuring a circular section, only functions against water and pressure. This sealing design prevents extrusion gaps from both sides of the circular ring at operating pressure, allowing for high-level operation pressure without any chance of penetrating the watertight seal.
