GE quick-connect (flexible design)

The brick assembly design aligns with GE's specifications. It features a detachable construction for ease of disassembly when needed. Despite the assumption that dismantling is infrequent, the design incorporates a rigid fit with an "interference fit" in the assembly. A 2-degree draft is provided in the seal to ensure proper interference fit between the seal and brick cavity. The snap locking mechanism can be undone using a screwdriver. Other than minor changes to the cavity design, the brick design remains unaltered, contributing to a simpler and cost-effective solution. Materials include: Urethane for bricks (same as proposed by GE), injection molded plastic for cavities, solid sheet silicone rubber or flourosilicone gaskets with high temperature resistance and waterproof properties, and HMS5/HMSA10 seals made of optimized nitrile rubber capable of handling -40 to 100-degree Celsius temperatures and 5 bar pressure.
