This new design is my second attempt; the first one can be seen here: GE Jet Engine Bracket - Very Lightweight. Despite the first model meeting all requirements, I felt it lacked flair. This revised design continues to satisfy specifications and performs well under load. The maximum displacement was only .005 inches, a minimal amount. The Factor of Safety ranged up to 2.0 but could have been higher. The weight reduction compared to the original bracket is impressive at approximately 480g, a decrease of around 78%. This design not only meets all requirements but also boasts an improved appearance. It serves as an excellent example of what additive manufacturing can achieve that traditional methods cannot.
