GE jet engine bracket challenge - The Hull - v04d
grabcad
The finalized design has a volume of 127,734.74 cubic millimeters, resulting in a 72.43% reduction compared to the previous part. A safety factor of 2 is maintained for flight safety purposes. The design falls within the boundaries of the old component. The hull is positioned as close as possible to the force median line, while the base has been raised to accommodate bolt force distribution. A honeycomb pattern in the base serves dual purposes: support and weight reduction, as well as releasing unhardened titanium powder. Additionally, the corporate design was incorporated as a luxury feature. Thank you for the engaging challenge!
