GE Dishwasher Lower Drawer Wheel

I designed this replacement wheel for a GE dishwasher lower drawer. It features two parts, just like the original, with relatively tight tolerances to ensure precision. I created a prototype using ABS, but it's intended to be printed in nylon for long-term durability. The part is assembled by pinching a clip with needle-nose pliers and inserting it into the wheel. Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 100% Notes: The wheel can be printed flat on its back without supports. In example shots, it was printed with ABS on clean hot glass at 110C. The clip prints best when the basket clamp is flat on the bed, with a raft and supports for the wheel spoke. Post-Printing: Tight tolerances require cleaning up any print aberrations with a razor to ensure proper fit. Design Process: I based this design on measurements from an original wheel, which I rendered as sketches in Autodesk 123D. I then extruded, combined, and tweaked the sketches to create the final design.
