The overall shape is similar to my initial design but stays within the original GE part's envelope. By thinning walls and ribs, I reduced weight while improving rigidity by incorporating a hexagonal honeycomb structure internally. This not only fills the internal void below the top skin, but also leads to a 52% reduction in weight-to-volume ratio compared to the original part.
