Jakob and Lars's design is simple yet reliable due to time constraints. The sealing consists of two parts: a steel component attached to the cavity (using glue) and a silicone part connected to the brick, creating a gap seal. The quick connection system is inspired by key-ring designs but requires additional springs between balls for functionality. This design allows easy attachment and removal of the brick at various points within the cavity. They hope this rough concept will impress the jury, leading to further design development or prototyping.
