GE Air Conditioner Intake

GE Air Conditioner Intake

Instead of buying the adapter kit for $100, I figured I'd design my own, spend about $50 in materials for test prints and failures, and around 40 hours of my own time ($??). Much more efficient! Anyways, it's a plate that fits onto a GE portable air conditioner, allowing you to connect standard 4 inch hoses, to draw outside air directly into the compressor rather than using indoor air, and then exhausting the heated air back outdoors. I've also included two fittings I use for the mount that goes to the exterior, a fitting for mounting the 4 inch hose to, and a filter plate that keeps any critters/debris from getting into said hoses. Personally, I also include some window screen in between these to ensure nothing chews its way through and gets itself into more trouble than it wanted.
