GE 50T STEEPLECAB ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE - VARIOUS SCALES
cults3d
This model is very similar to my previously released 32T GE steeplecab but has more room for powering it in smaller scales. This is a model of a General Electric steeplecab locomotive that was offered in various weights from 37T-55T and was used in numerous trolley freight applications throughout the country. This model is based on the 50T locomotive that was operated on many railroads, such as the Aroostook Valley. The STL files are done in 1:1 for easy printing in 1:32 (#1-Scale) after slicing. However, other scales can also be done and additional files that compensate for smaller scales are also included. This is a body and frame kit only with only some detail parts. It will be up to the user to provide powered trucks, handrails, couplers, weights and trolley pole. See my other uploads for custom made traction motor cases that can be used on commercial Piko archbar truck frames for #1-Scale. Frames are designed to take face mounted Kadee couplers for large scales and regular Kadee couplers in smaller scales. Note that in HO-Scale there are TWO versions, one for Northwest Shortline power trucks and one that uses the older motors from the Bachmann TWO-motor GE 44T locomotives.
