This is a replacement blender gear for the GE 169202 blender, designed to address a common issue where users burn out (melt) the middle gear surrounding the square bolt on the pitcher. To install this new gear, simply tap an original 8 mm nut into the square hole using a hammer. The fit should be snug. Next, screw the nut onto the blender shaft by hand. It's recommended to find a good pair of flat-nosed pliers to hold the center of the blade while tightening the gear.
