gCreate Spiral Vase Rocket
thingiverse
We've launched a fresh Rocket Ship design, thanks to the massive popularity of our previous model. This new version now lets you print in spiral vase mode, which creates a smooth exterior with no seams by printing the perimeter as one continuous line while raising the z-axis during the print. Additionally, this mode slashes plastic usage and speeds up the printing process significantly. Take a look at the original gCreate Rocket Ship here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:427789 For more information on slicing engines that support spiral vase mode, just do a search on Google. You can still print the traditional way with multiple walls if you prefer, and infill is completely optional. This design is also a manifold model. In the photo, we've showcased four different filaments: Red: PolyMaker's PolyMax PLA (http://www.polymaker.com/shop/polymax/) Blue: 3D Print Life's Enviro ABS (http://www.3dprintlife.com/) Silver: Hatchbox Silver PLA (https://www.facebook.com/HATCHBOX3D/) Black: ColorFabb PLA/PHA (http://colorfabb.com/pla-pha) Check out the new PolyMaker PolyFlex material print video on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/p/BFWyqKkoajh/?taken-by=gcreate3d Printed on a gMax 1.5+ by gCreate, you can find more information about our products and services at http://www.gcreate.com.
