Gcreate Rocket LED Flame
thingiverse
Something the original model was lacking in my opinion, a cool way to make the flame light up. I used a simple white 12v 5mm LED. - For wiring, I recommend using enamel copper wire because it's stiff and thin, making it easy to push through the tube in the smoke model. - There isn't a slot modeled into the bottom of the smoke due to its high polygon count, which caused my PC to overheat three times before I could finally get the tube inserted in Meshmixer. This slot can easily be created by using a rotary tool or small file and cutting it out. - For the rocket, you can choose any color you like, but it's best not to make it too light or transparent as this may cause the light to bleed into the rocket. I prefer black for its great contrast and color combination. - For the flame, I recommend using a translucent orange, yellow, or red.
