GCode procedures for easier manual bedleveling Tevo Tornado
thingiverse
I'm glad I could find four procedures in Gcode for manual bed leveling that make this annoying process a little bit easier. After searching the internet, I couldn't find any code like these. The codes don't print anything; they're only meant to adjust the bed. You can start one just as you would begin a print. These Gcodes were initially written for the standard Tevo Tornado but are easily adjustable for your own printer. The files contain two leveling patterns: in a rectangle (square) and across the diagonals (radial). I think the radial pattern is better, giving more accurate results. Both patterns come with options for a cold bed or a heated bed at 50 degrees C or 200 degrees C for the nozzle. Before adjusting, the heated bed codes preheat both the bed and the nozzle. The Gcode jumps from point to point, pausing in between for adjustments. Press the knob for the next point. The points are safely positioned away from the edge of the bed so that screws won't rotate during adjustment. If you're using the radial codes, make sure the adjustment points are on the diagonals from screw to screw (see picture) for best results. Remember, you use these codes entirely at your own risk. Always check that your bed is free and has enough space to move before proceeding. See http://reprap.org/wiki/G-code for more information about Gcode.
