GCN - GBA Link Cable Shell for Analogue Pocket

GCN - GBA Link Cable Shell for Analogue Pocket

thingiverse

A small shell for a GameCube - Game Boy Advance Link Cable (GBA end) that snugly fits the PCB and closes with two self-tapping screws. It is intended for use with the Analogue Pocket. This shell is shorter than the original shell, leaving the USB-C port on the Pocket exposed. The primary use-case of this shell is to allow a USB-C cable to be plugged into the Pocket in order to connect it to the dock (plug orientation matters) so that it may be connected to a Nintendo GameCube whilst docked. I use this to capture GBA output from the pocket while simultaneously capturing the GCN as well. The included SCAD file is parametric, so you can adjust the parameters to work with your own printer's tolerances. This piece fulfilled my needs, but it, admittedly, lacks polish. I invite anyone who would like to do so to remix this piece and improve upon its design.
