Gazebo String Light Clip
thingiverse
Having purchased a 48ft string of LED lights similar to this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DFGY6N8, I decided to install them in our metal gazebo out back. Since I had built the gazebo myself just a week prior, I was confident that I could figure out how to hang the lights around the metal roof members inside it. Knowing that the members were 1"x1" square, I quickly sketched out a hook clip design based on a 27mm square profile that would allow me to latch the cables onto. Fortunately, the rough dimensions I had envisioned came out perfectly - it seems like my skills are improving! Anyways, take a look and let me know what you think. I've attached the FreeCAD files for your customization. One printed, twenty more to go!
