It can be printed perfectly without supports by sinking the piece 0.5mm into the base and jumping in Z or Z-hop. I used a 1mm pick and PETG since the piece will be exposed to the elements. I made it with 5 perimeters and 0 of infill, and yet it turned out sturdy.
