XRef links reduce file size and increase Viewport speed by using low-poly copies of models as proxies. This system allows customers to change mapping and material directly in the scene without editing external files. Each original model can have a unique color solution in each scene. The small file size gives users the opportunity to work with regular equipment, avoiding expensive professional machines.
