The GAZ-MM truck, manufactured in the late 1930s to early 1940s by GAZ in the Soviet Union, had a maximum load capacity of 1.5 tons. It was a simplified version of the Ford Model AA's Soviet licensed variant. By the onset of World War II, over 150,000 were already being used by the Red Army.
