The GAZ-3409 Beaver is a diesel-powered, snow-floating tracked vehicle designed for transporting people and cargo. Manufactured by the Zavolzhsky plant of caterpillar tractors, part of RM-Tereks within the Russian Machines corporation, it has been in production since 2006. The Beaver is utilized by various agencies such as Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of Health, along with OMON forces.
