The GAZ-3308 Sadko military utility truck stepped in as the replacement for its predecessor, the GAZ-66, after 35 years of production. Russian MoD kicked off the production of the GAZ Sadko in 1996, capitalizing on its cost-efficient design. This smart move allowed the Russian defense forces to get their hands on these light trucks despite a persistent funding shortage. Since 1999, the GAZ-3308 Sadko has been making waves internationally. Today, this versatile military truck serves with the Russian Army and several other countries. The Sadko sticks to traditional layout principles. Based on its civilian counterpart, the GAZ-3307 with a 4x2 configuration, it's easily identifiable by its double rear wheels. The Sadko boasts an impressive payload capacity of 2000 kg. Equipped with a cargo-type rear body, the vehicle comes with a covered cargo area wrapped in bows and canvas cover. Not only can it tow trailers or light artillery pieces, but also carry troops and cargo with ease.
