The GAZ-14 Chaika is a high-end, chauffeur-driven sedan that was manufactured by Soviet-era automaker GAZ from 1977 to 1992. Produced in only six models over its lifespan, the GAZ-14 features a sleek, elongated body and interior accommodations for up to five people, with plenty of room in the rear compartment for luggage and equipment. Despite its somewhat awkward styling cues and utilitarian approach, the Chaika was praised by some critics for its solid performance capabilities and durable build quality. Unfortunately, these traits did little to boost the sedan's sales appeal amidst intense market competition from Western-made models.
