The statue represents Bastet or Bast, an ancient Egyptian goddess worshiped since the Second Dynasty (2890 BCE), who was initially associated with warfare in Lower Egypt before cultural unification. In Greek religion, she's also known as Ailuros. To personalize the cat's likeness, I altered its facial features.
