Gauntlet Fingers
prusaprinters
I made a gauntlet years ago out of school supplies and a work glove so I decided to revisit that idea and print the links out so they're more uniform and look nicer. You can secure them with some mini brads from Michael's or any other craft/office supply store and have the added bonus of it looking like it's riveted together. Maybe use a little glue on the… flat…bendy… whatever part of it so it doesn't keep rotating as you flex your fingers. Anyways I printed them in stock prusa slicer Prusament PETG .2mm settings. The part named Link is the main bulk of the finger parts, print as many as you need. Try one first though and scale them up or down as needed. Probably down; my hands are pretty big.Finger Tip is the pointy bit that goes over your fingernails. I printed this part with a brim for better bed adhesion.Finger End is the part that goes over your knuckle.Scale a few of each up from your finger size for your thumb.I've tried both securing them to the glove directly but the glove is falling apart from the holes poked in it, and securing them to leather straps. The straps work a lot better and I plan to just glue one at the base of each finger to the glove.
