Gauntlet finger
thingiverse
A wearable device designed to resemble armor on your fingers is being created. It features intentionally smaller than average finger pieces; these must be heated slightly to become pliable before they can fit onto your fingers. A blow-dryer should work effectively on PLA, but using a heat-gun could cause the plastic to overheat and potentially result in burns. Once the plastic has been made pliable, the wearable device can be put on and taken off several times until it fits comfortably. A blank version of this wearable device that can be edited or printed as-is is available for use. This version has a robotic appearance that might suit your aesthetic preferences. A "saurian" version with a scaly look and talon-like claws is also being offered. The creator is pleased with these designs, but additional versions may be created in the future. Adding chainmail to this wearable device could potentially transform it into a functional gauntlet. This project will have to wait until another day, however.
