Gaui X7 belt conversion
grabcad
Here are the drawings for converting a Gaui X7 rc helicopter to a state-of-the-art belt driven tail rotor system - I've put this rig through countless flights without experiencing a single hitch. No promises, though: This design is completely without warranty. As built, the homebrew version leverages components from Mikado, excepting one major hurdle: an 80t belt pully that must be milled from aluminum block stock. If you're not up for tackling this piece yourself, you can opt to spring for the pro version - it eschews existing parts altogether and has me fabricate all relevant components in house. The available design files include STEP, parasolid and 3D PDF formats. Just a heads-up: all rights remain entirely with me; this creation is a solo endeavor through-and-through.
