Gaui X3 boom clamp to prevent boom slipping
thingiverse
A 15mm clamp secures the boom in place to prevent it from slipping into the body and causing the belt to become loose. Utilize an M2 locking nut to ensure a secure fit. Printing with PETG (or ABS) material is recommended due to their superior strength compared to PLA. While PLA also produces satisfactory results, its limitations mean it cannot be tightened as much since it tends to split. To achieve optimal results, print the design with substantial infill, using 50% or more of the available space. Note: V2 boasts enhanced durability and a tighter fit on the boom, addressing issues with earlier versions that struggled to secure the boom properly.
