Gauge Meter Adapter - Rod Straightening Rods
thingiverse
I had a bent L-shaped beam that I was going to use to straighten some threaded and linear rods I have laying around, but the beam measurements didn't match with the original rod support dimensions on the thing. Plus, I didn't have a way to support my gauge meter like Dopes6070 has. With this remix, all you should need to start working on straightening those bent rods is: * An L-shaped beam - preferably one that's 29.5mm x 2.4mm in size; * C-clamps (also known as G-clamps) to hold down the beam and rod supports in place; * 2 ABEC-5 608ZZ bearings; From there, using the resized rod supports and gauge meter support, it should be fairly easy to measure the rod straightness across the beam and patiently work out the bends.
