gauge bracket for MPCNC with Makita tool holder
thingiverse
I'm building up my MPCNC, but I realized that my tubes for the feet aren't equal - some reason or another. To level the machine before making the first cut, I designed this bracket to hold a gauge (a measuring device). This will help me ensure the machine is perfectly level in all directions. I believe this will be helpful not just for upcoming projects but also when measuring the alignment of goods as I clamp them down using a vise. That's my plan anyway. The gauge has an 8mm diameter at the fixing point. This bracket is designed to fit onto a MAKITA tool holder with an outer diameter of about 85mm and a distance of 20mm between the fixing screws. I did this design in Sketchup.
