Gauge 1 (1:32) Simple Open Wagon
thingiverse
These are incredibly simple open wagons for gauge 1, scaled at 1:32. They're based on a standard five-plank wagon but are far from being exact prototypes. All parts will print flat and can be glued together using your preferred adhesive. I've used hot glue and superglue with great success. You'll need to add your own couplings; I use curtain hooks and a bit of wallet chain to simulate a three-link coupling. You'll also need to add wheels, as the wagon is designed to accommodate one with an axle length of approximately 70mm and a diameter of around 35mm. A standard size for gauge 1, you can source these from here: https://www.ebaystores.co.uk/EastCoastRailway It's crucial when assembling the wagon that you mount the base slightly higher in the frame so that the wheels fit snugly inside. Print list: 2 x G1 Open End 2 x G1 Open Side 1 x G1 Open Base 1 x Buffers
