<p>This is my interpretation in gauge 1 (1:32) of a DEMAG railway steam crane. It’s printed in PETG on a Artillery Sidewinder X2. 5 functions are RC controlled. A servo opens and closes the buckets. Drive, rotation, hoist and boom are driven by N20 6V geared motors (ratio 1:100 or 1:200). These motors are driven by simple cheap ESC's (i.e. AliExpress Micro 1A 5V DC Brushed Motor Speed Controller).&nbsp;</p><p>Metric hardware (i.e. M2, M3, M4 &amp; M8, 3 mm metal rod) is used to assemble all items. The centre screw and a coal-brush provide power to the drive motor.&nbsp;</p><p>In and under the drive unit, and in the back of the cabin lead is mounted to counterbalance the load in the boom. To aid smooth operation of the bucket, some lead ballast on the top-bar and inside the clam-shells is required.</p><p>Construction is pretty complicated.
