The Gatorade Bottle Project: From Tetrahedron to Tetrahedron, Platonic Duals After the dodecahedron-icosahedron project took off, someone suggested creating similar designs for all five of the Platonic Solids. Since we could easily find Gatorade bottles, why not give it a shot? The tetrahedron is unique in that it's its own dual. Starting with one tetrahedron, you can connect four bottles and four bottom adapters to create an even bigger tetrahedron. Materials Needed: 1. One tetrahedron core 2. Four bottom adapters 3. Four Gatorade bottles 4. At least six rubber bands References: 1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platonic_solid 2. http://demonstrations.wolfram.com/DualsOfPlatonicSolids/
