If you have to ask 'why?' in regards to the reason for making this, then you are beyond dumb. In fact, you should have the person reading this to you stop right now. For the rest of you, this thing is awesome in our disgusting world. I use it every day, I even use it to hold my kid's hands or grab them. I print it at 30% infill, Gyroid pattern, .2 layer height and supports touching buildplate only. I use CURA to slice and dice and print these on my Ender-3 models. Even though it is a 'work in progress' that's only because I keep tweaking it to make it (ideally) better...but it is completely ready to use as of now and will keep you from touching so much disgusting stuff out there.
