These highly detailed, high polygon models render superbly; they are fully textured for close-up renders and were initially modeled in 3ds Max 2013 using default scanline rendering. Nearly scale, they accurately represent the original object with included textures, materials, and UVW mapping across various formats. Animation capabilities include hatches, guns, rudder, planes, antennas, and propellers; water is, however, not part of the model. The US Navy's Gato-class submarines were mass-produced during WWII as the first such series, with subsequent Balao and Tench classes, collectively forming the majority of the United States Navy's World War II submarine fleet.
