This is a versatile 6-barrel Gatling Rubber Band Gun, engineered to load up to 48 rounds at once. Loading 30-36 rounds, however, proves far easier. Powered by hand-crank rotation and operated with a thumb-trigger, this big yet easy-to-print firearm showcases simplicity in its design. The 3D print comes without excessive overhangs, with the handle being the only area that requires some level of support. Watch here for further demonstration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9VI8fMDmSQ Instructions Designed from scratch using FreeCAD, a FCSTD file is provided for your convenience. Printed in PLA, the results speak for themselves when fine-tuned with Cura. You should first load each component from their individual STL files before studying how they all come together seamlessly through reference to both "Assembled" and "Exploded" views. The components require six units each of the Barrel, Ratchet Wheel, and Ratchet Catch parts; while one set is sufficient for the remaining pieces. Beyond 3D printed pieces, a range of tools are also needed: • M4x20mm screw and nut (six sets, long screws can be substituted) • M4x16mm screw and nut (six sets, longer screws can serve just fine) • Zip tie or cable tie (four sets will suffice) • A supply of rubber bands is an absolute must Additional tips to help with smoother firing: You might need to sand down the trigger for better interaction between it and the ratchet catch. Also remember to set your build bed diagonally if you plan to use multiple barrels – most printers won't face issues in accommodating the shape, anyway. Lastly, the ratchet wheel's free movement when the firearm is not loaded may result in an unpleasant feel due to dry firing. The fix involves tightening loose catches when they are released after each loading cycle; although harmless otherwise. Lastly, please take note that the STL has gone through various refinements and alterations from its original version as you'll likely find out during the assembly process - do not panic!
