GATEway Project driverless bus Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
The GATEway project, a £8m research initiative spearheaded by TRL, aims to tackle the technical, legal, and societal obstacles related to deploying automated vehicles in urban settings. Conducted at the UK Smart Mobility Lab in Greenwich, this venture will assess diverse use cases for autonomous cars, including driverless shuttles and automated city deliveries. The vehicles are modeled after Heathrow's Ultra Pods but are track-free, navigating autonomously via lasers, sensors, cameras, and software after being mapped manually. With 4096 texture map (PSD), this design is ideal for architectural visualizations, traffic simulations, and games without requiring high-polygonal models. Its exterior-only texture map allows for custom livery placement without intricate graphics software.
