I've been eager to tackle one of these projects for quite some time now. I stumbled upon the files in the Fosscad Mega Pack and used them as a great starting point, but the scaling, thickness, mounting method, etc., was nowhere near what I'd expect from a print-and-play file in my opinion. Two pushers, similar to those on the Hyper Gat you can buy for $50, allow for different-sized trigger guards. This model has been printed and dry-fired tested, and it indeed works! I haven't had the chance to have any real fun with it yet. To ensure a wider array of weapons fit properly, I added threaded set screws on the bottom to lock it in place on the trigger guard. The leftover Anet A8 Allen head screws were used to bolt the two halves together (I'm not sure what size they are), and I usually had to round out both plates slightly for the paddle wheel to turn freely. Update: Following testing, I added a second crank that allows for better finger grip when spinning it quickly. Additionally, I created a recess for the Allen head and increased clearance for the screw. The paddle is now threaded, making it easier to achieve a solid connection. The crank may need to be scaled up by 1 or 2% to fit properly on the paddle.
