Gastly

Gastly

To create the first-ever ghost type Pokémon, Gastly, I initially sliced a sphere in half for easier printing. The back was a semi-circle, while the front had two hexagon eye holes extruded from a semi-circle. I made eyes with small hexagonal pegs fitting into the body's holes and mirrored them for symmetry. For the mouth, I adjusted an extrusion sketch in Illustrator for size changes. The gas was designed as a spherical insert within Illustrator. Assembly involved using acrylic glue, and printing was done on a Thing-omatic, Replicator 2, and Epilog Laser Mini. The ultimate goal was to train Gastly to defeat the elite four, while also serving decorative purposes.
