Das hat den Vorteil, dass man an der Tankstelle nicht aus versehen Benzin in ein Dieselauto kippt.<br>Wenn man nun aber einen Ersatzkanister mit "normalen" Benzinstutzen hat (Durchmesser ist geringer) dann kann man diese Dieselauto nicht mit dem Ersatzkanister betanken.&nbsp;<br>Mit dem Adapter erhöht man den Durchmesser und somit wird der Tank entriegelt und man kann den Ersatzkanister ins Auto kippen.</p><p>Gasoline to diesel nozzle adapter</p><p>With "modern" cars, it is not possible to refuel a diesel car with a gasoline nozzle without further ado.
