I crafted a mold for a DIY gasket from scratch. The thickness I aimed for was around 0.7MM, but intentionally left some room for sanding and polishing to achieve smooth surfaces measuring about 0.8-0.9MM. I'm gearing up to create a few more back plates with varying thicknesses to experiment with different setups. My ultimate goal is to utilize the gasket in waterproof systems. I've chosen M3 bolts and M3 brass inserts for this project, which will provide a secure hold once assembled. The dimensions of the gasket are 80*80, giving it a solid foundation to work with. Printing is just around the corner!
