GASB One Bubble Canopy and Lower Cowl
thingiverse
I designed several additional components for the GASB One flying wing project. The bubble canopy provides extra clearance in the battery bay, allowing a lower cowl placement to accommodate the ESC outside the fuselage. To secure the canopy tags, I cut slits on either side of the forward lip around the battery compartment and attached them to the underside of the canopy using CA adhesive. I aligned these tags with the slits cut into the nose section of the wing. A magnet at the rear enables the canopy to slot in seamlessly at the front, securing it firmly in place.
