I decided to cut the original filter to avoid to build supports on the lower part and than have the surface no more smooth. Printing time is also divided in 2 parts. Support required only for the top part. Thread: NATO 40mm working perfectly smooth (doesnt work with Warsaw pact gas masks like soviet masks). I suggest do not paint the thread of the filter because will be hidden inside the mask and will not release color to the mask-thread. Enjoy your mask with a light filter that last forever!! :) P.S.: Thank you very much to the owner of the original 3D model ! (unistrut)
