This is a preliminary concept that still requires thorough testing and refinement. Do not attempt to wear this version! This 3D printable gas mask design consists of three separate components - the primary mask, the canister, and a gasket that secures the face shield in place. The face shield is carefully cut from a clear plastic sheet. The filter material used in this design is activated charcoal, which can be easily sourced at any pet store. To assemble the filter, place a layer of cotton batting at the bottom of the canister, followed by a generous amount of activated charcoal, and finally another layer of cotton on top.
