gas door lock
thingiverse
My gas door used to open when parked due to a broken ring on my lock. I fixed this issue by removing the broken part and replacing it with a sturdy piece. A picture shows the broken piece, while SketchUp illustrates the replacement. Although this isn't the most effective repair method, it does work! For those who want an alternative solution without replacing intact locks, you can remove the locking arm on the gas door entirely. Ensure you sand off paint from the area where you will apply industrial plastic glue/adhesive. Attach the end of a printed lock to this prepared spot for a quick fix.
